Letters from the Chairman

It was so good seeing many of you last week at our Nueces County Christmas Celebration. I hope that you will enjoy a very joyous and blessed Christmas season. The elections might be over, but the fight still continues. There are many issues that are close to home that will keep us involved.

I wrote to you back in August and said “The eyes of Texas are upon us.”  Well, they still are. So, it is important that we continue to stay involved in the party, and continue to support it.  I present to you the “BIG 10 Challenge.”  There are 10 seats up on the bench this coming election.  Let’s commit to give $10 a week to the NCDP for the year 2013 to help take back our courthouse!

Again, this is only something we can win if we all do it together.  $10 a week…it’s that easy!  Let us know what you can do to help.  We know we can win these seats. Just ask Judge Deanne Galvan, tonight, when she gets sworn in.

Join us to celebrate her swearing in at the Nueces County Courthouse in the Central Jury Room at 5:15pm.  Hope to see everyone there.

Our great SDEC Committeewoman Theresa Klein is heading up a great project for the NCDP.  They are preparing a cookbook for sale.  If you have any good recipes that you would like to contribute, drop them off at our HQ or email them to ncdpchairman@nuecesdemocrats.org

God Bless You Always,
Joseph Ramirez
Chairman, Nueces County Democratic Party
